Capture the natural beauty of North Wales with an outdoor photography break.

2 and 3 March 2019

Charming 16th Century Country Inn, The West Arms, has teamed up with award winning photographer Alan Ranger to run outdoor photography workshops in the Ceiriog and Dee Valley on the 2 and 3 March.

Based just south of Llangollen, at The West Arms Country Inn, the 2 day photographic workshop will offer keen photographers at any level the chance to brush up on their snapping skills whilst enjoying stunning landscapes.

Learn new techniques to capture sunrise and sunsets and explore some of North Wales’ breath-taking waterfalls, rivers, lakes and mountain ranges, to create great images.  Likely locations will include Lake Vyrnwy, Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

An all-inclusive 2 day course is priced from £475 per person* and includes;

–  Bed and breakfast at The West Arms Country Inn – Private Room with shower

–  All transportation to and from locations

–  Optional evening image post-processing, editing advice and reviews

Set in the picturesque village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, in the unspoilt Ceiriog Valley, North Wales, The West Arms, is a charming 16th Century Country Hotel which was once a farmhouse belonging to the local gentry.

Alan Ranger is a professional photographer and qualified photography tutor based in the Midlands, UK. Alan teaches all abilities and interests on a 1-2-1 basis and through small group classes.
