The West Arms Country Inn in (Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog) has been shortlisted in the category of Restaurant of the Year (North) for the Food Awards Wales 2022.
The Food Awards Wales 2022 celebrate the best in the food industry; from the excellent restaurants, chefs and servers, to the specialists and suppliers.

The West Arms’ menu reflects all the seasonal flavours of the Ceiriog, from the signature Dolwen Welsh Lamb, a staple favourite to ‘The Marley Rose’, Fresh Fish caught directly off the North Wales Coast. Local Speciality meat dishes such as North Wales Venison or Partridge from Izzy at The Wild Meat Company in Llanrhaedr Yn Mochnant appear frequently.
The Food Awards Wales 2022 is set to be a memorable event in the food industry’s calendar, with a wide range of accolades ready to be presented to the most deserving professionals and establishments, including Restaurant of the Year, Best Mexican Establishment, Retail Bakery of the Year, Best World Cuisine and many more.

Completing the shortlist are Old Wives Tales (Corwen), On the Hill Restaurant (Ruthin), Yum Yums (Corwen), TyddynLlan (Llandrillo), The Leyland Arms (Ruthin), Country Cooks (Corwen), and Dragonfly Tea Rooms and Fishery Ltd (Corwen).
The winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony in Cardiff in early 2022.
