Rock in the Park 9-11 August 2019, Wrexham
Now in its third year and set in the heart of North Wales near Wrexham Industrial estate, Rock the Park is a family friendly music festival featuring the UK’s best tributes to rock & pop artists including tributes to Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams, Pink, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Guns N Roses, Queen and many more. Take an Real Ale Train – 20 July
Take a step back in time to the days of steam trains at one of North Wales’ most popular tourist attractions. On 20 July you can step onboard the Llangollen Railway and soak up the atmosphere whilst enjoying the Real Ales on offer at the well stocked bar. If you miss this don’t fear as Llangollen station will also be hosting a real ale festival and bar on 3 and 4 August.

Celebrate bikes – 3 – 4 August 2019
Celebrate two wheels this summer in Llangollen, a short drive from our country inn in Llanarmon DC. The LlanBikeFest is ‘the place to be’ this summer for enthusiasts who are mad about bikes of all kinds – on road, off road, racing, touring, classics and custom. Coined as the ‘International Festival of Motorcycling’ the festival is a celebration of biking – not just a show. So fasten your helmets and take a ride to North Wales.

Don’t miss the mainstay event of the Oswestry calendar. Oswestry Balloon Festival. Held in August this family favourite event is a real feast for lovers of ballooning! Watch hundreds of Hot air balloons dominate the sky and glow into the night. The festival also includes a fireworks display, a parachute display, and a balloon race.
